LOCATION

The Serengeti National Park expands about a staggering 14,750 square kilometers in total (1). Located in Tarzania, the Serengeti National Park has six important private safari areas: Senora & southcentral, Southeastern & Ndutu, Western Corridor, Grumeti Game Reserve, Serengeti Mara, and the Northern plains and Lobo.

Did you know that the Serengeti Mara ecosystem is home to several indigenous tribes, famously the Masai? (1) North of the Masai-Mara National Park Reserve are the Lotte Hills that are historic lands of the Kenya Masai people (3). The Masai are traditional pastoral society that inhibit the eastern side of the Narok district in Kenya south through the Loliondo area, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the southern edge of the Serengeti plains where they meet the Sukuma (3).
